Ingredients

2 ripe avocados
1 lemon, juiced
Salt & pepper to taste
4 slices sourdough bread
1 cup pomegranate seeds
2 tbsp red onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1 lime, juiced
Pinch chili flakes
Instructions
1. Toast bread until golden.
2. Mash avocado with lemon, salt, and pepper.
3. Spread avocado mash over toast.
4. Mix pomegranate seeds, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and chili flakes.
5. Top avocado toast with salsa.
6. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free bread.
Prepare salsa ahead but mash avocado fresh.
