Description
Baked pears with feta, honey, and cranberries offer the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors. Ideal as a stunning appetizer or elegant dessert, this recipe comes together effortlessly with just a few premium ingredients.
Ingredients
2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (preferably Greek or Bulgarian)
2 tablespoons pure honey
2 tablespoons dried cranberries or fresh pomegranate seeds
Optional: pinch of cinnamon or chopped walnuts for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a small baking dish with parchment.
2. Halve and core pears, creating a small well in the center.
3. Place pears cut-side up in the baking dish.
4. Stuff each center with crumbled feta cheese.
5. Drizzle honey evenly over the pears and sprinkle with cranberries or pomegranate seeds.
6. Optional: add a light sprinkle of cinnamon or chopped walnuts.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until pears are tender and cheese is lightly golden.
8. Let cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Use ripe but firm pears (like Bosc or Anjou) to maintain structure during baking.
Greek or Bulgarian feta adds a bold, salty contrast — French feta offers a milder option.
Pairs beautifully with a crisp white wine or herbal tea for a cozy finish.
