- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 taco seasoning packet
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- Sour cream (for serving)
- Salsa (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) according to the crescent roll package instructions.
- Prepare the crescent roll dough by unrolling it and pressing the seams together to form a single crust.
- Cook the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the cooked meat and mix well. If needed, add a little water and cook for a few more minutes.
- Assemble the pizza by spreading the seasoned meat evenly over the crust.
- Cheese the pizza by sprinkling shredded cheddar cheese on top of the meat.
- Bake the pizza according to the crescent roll package instructions, typically for 15-20 minutes.
- Cool for a few minutes, then add diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce as toppings.
- Slice the pizza into wedges and serve hot with sour cream and salsa.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper or jalapeños to the meat. You can also prepare the meat mixture a day in advance for quicker assembly.
