Description
A hearty Southern-style breakfast pizza topped with creamy sausage gravy, golden eggs, and melty cheese on a flaky biscuit crust.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
1 lb chicken or beef sausage (crumbled)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
4 eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and press biscuit dough into pizza pan.
2. Bake crust for 8 minutes.
3. Cook sausage until browned and set aside.
4. Make roux: Melt butter, stir in flour.
5. Slowly whisk in milk, cook until thickened.
6. Add cooked sausage to gravy and season.
7. Spread gravy on crust, crack eggs on top.
8. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
9. Bake 12–15 minutes or until eggs set.
10. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Use vegetarian sausage for a meatless option.
For spicier gravy, add cayenne or chili flakes.
