Description
Flaky puff pastry filled with tangy blue cheese, crunchy walnuts, and fresh thyme for an easy yet elegant appetizer.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
1/3 cup walnuts (toasted & chopped)
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 tbsp milk
Optional: drizzle of honey
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Roll puff pastry lightly and cut into squares.
3. Place blue cheese, walnuts, and thyme in the center.
4. Fold edges, brush with egg wash.
5. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
6. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Best served warm.
Can be frozen before baking and baked straight from freezer.
Experiment with pears, figs, or rosemary for variations.
