Description
Festive no-bake Blue Christmas Truffles made with creamy white chocolate and a hint of vanilla, coated in sparkling blue sugar for a magical winter treat perfect for gifting or parties.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups white chocolate chips (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Blue gel food coloring
1 cup white chocolate chips (for coating)
Blue sanding sugar or sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
2. Add melted white chocolate and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
3. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until a thick dough forms.
4. Add a few drops of blue food coloring and mix until the color is evenly distributed.
5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
6. Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Freeze for 15–20 minutes until firm.
8. Melt the remaining white chocolate for coating.
9. Dip each truffle into melted white chocolate, letting excess drip off.
10. Place on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle with blue sanding sugar or sprinkles.
11. Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes.
12. Store chilled until ready to serve.
Notes
Add a drop of peppermint extract for a cool holiday twist.
You can use candy melts instead of white chocolate for easier coating.
Keep truffles refrigerated for up to 1 week or frozen for longer storage.
