Ingredients
24 cherry tomatoes
24 small mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
24 fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Toothpicks or skewers
Instructions
1. Arrange toothpicks with one cherry tomato, one basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball on each.
2. Lay the skewers on a large serving board in the shape of a Christmas tree, starting from the base and working upward.
3. Fill in gaps with extra basil leaves or tomatoes for fullness.
4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze just before serving.
5. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
6. Garnish the base and edges with fresh rosemary sprigs to resemble tree branches.
Notes
Use colored cherry tomatoes (red and yellow) for a vibrant look.
Add a small star-shaped piece of cheese at the top for decoration.
Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers for extra texture.
