Description

Caprese skewers are a fresh, colorful appetizer made with juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella balls, and fragrant basil, finished with olive oil and balsamic glaze for a simple yet elegant bite.


Ingredients

Scale

1 pint cherry tomatoes

8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)

Fresh basil leaves

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Wooden skewers or toothpicks


Instructions

1. Wash and dry tomatoes and basil leaves.

2. Assemble skewers by threading a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto each skewer.

3. Arrange skewers on a serving platter.

4. Drizzle with olive oil.

5. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.

6. Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze just before serving.

Notes
