Description
This Caramel Apple Dip is creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth the perfect fall party snack or dessert. Made with layers of whipped cream cheese, rich caramel, and crunchy toffee bits, it pairs perfectly with crisp apple slices.
Ingredients
8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup powdered sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup thick caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
½ cup chopped toffee bits or crushed Heath bars
2–3 crisp apples, sliced (for serving)
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in a shallow serving dish.
3. Pour the caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer and spread gently to cover.
4. Sprinkle chopped toffee bits (or nuts, if preferred) evenly over the caramel layer.
5. Serve immediately with fresh apple slices for dipping. To prevent apples from browning, toss them with a bit of lemon juice before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
You can also top with chopped pecans or mini chocolate chips for extra texture.
Store leftovers (without apples) covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
