Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Mix until fully incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Shape the mixture into two thick burger patties.
  5. Sear the patties in a hot skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  6. Transfer the seared patties to a baking tray.
  7. Spoon pizza sauce over each patty.
