Ingredients
3 large eggs
2 tbsp milk or cream
1 tbsp butter
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 ripe avocado, sliced
Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add milk, salt, and pepper, then whisk until well combined.
2. Heat butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
3. Pour in the egg mixture and let it cook undisturbed for about 30 seconds.
4. Use a spatula to gently push cooked edges toward the center, allowing uncooked eggs to flow outward.
5. When eggs are mostly set but still slightly runny on top, sprinkle cheese evenly over one side.
6. Fold the omelette in half and cook for another 30 seconds until the cheese melts.
7. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve with avocado slices and fresh herbs.
