Description
A rich and creamy seafood dip loaded with tender shrimp, sweet crab, and gooey melted cheese baked to golden perfection for the ultimate party appetizer.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 lb cooked shrimp, chopped
1/2 lb lump crab meat
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tbsp chopped green onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Crackers, baguette slices, or tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
3. Add mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay, cayenne, and green onions; mix well.
4. Gently fold in chopped shrimp and crab meat.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
9. Garnish with extra green onions and serve with bread or crackers.
Notes
Use freshly cooked seafood for the best flavor.
You can make this dip ahead and bake just before serving.
Try adding a sprinkle of cheddar or Monterey Jack on top for extra cheesiness.
