Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup pure maple syrup
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup white chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and maple syrup until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until a soft dough forms. Fold in white chocolate chips.
4. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon or fingers.
5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Add chopped pecans or walnuts for a nutty twist.
Drizzle with melted white chocolate for extra indulgence.
Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for longer freshness.
For extra chewiness, slightly underbake and let cookies set on the baking sheet.
