Description
A family-friendly Stuffed Chicken Cordon Bleu Bake with melty cheese, juicy chicken, and crispy topping. Perfect for dinner or gatherings.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 slices turkey deli meat (nitrate-free)
4 slices mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1 tbsp olive oil (for topping)
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Pound chicken breasts to 1/2 inch thickness.
2. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme.
3. Lay 1 slice of turkey and 1 slice of cheese on each chicken breast.
4. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
6. Sear each roll-up in a skillet with olive oil until golden on both sides (2 minutes per side).
7. Place in a baking dish.
8. Mix breadcrumbs with 1 tbsp olive oil and sprinkle on top.
9. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
10. Let rest 5–7 minutes before serving.
Notes
To make it keto-friendly, substitute breadcrumbs with crushed pork-free almond flour.
You can prep rolls ahead and refrigerate overnight for next-day baking.
Freeze for up to 2 months before baking. Let thaw in fridge before use.
