Description
Moist, tender banana bread loaded with sweet ripe bananas and melty chocolate chips a classic, comforting bake perfect for breakfast, snacking, or dessert.
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter.
3. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
4. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; mix just until incorporated.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top before baking for a bakery-style look.
Bread stays moist for several days when wrapped tightly.
