Ingredients
3 cups mini pretzels or pretzel rods
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting wafers
1 tsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smooth melting)
Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or sea salt for topping
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
3. Dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate, coating halfway or fully as desired.
4. Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then place pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet.
5. Immediately add sprinkles, nuts, or salt before the chocolate sets.
6. Let pretzels set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15 minutes until firm.
7. Serve immediately or store for later.
Notes
