- 1 package of chocolate sandwich cookies (for crust)
- 1/2 cup of butter (melted)
- 1 package of cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 container of whipped topping
- 2 packages of chocolate instant pudding mix
- 3 cups of milk
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by crushing the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs and mixing with melted butter.
- Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form a solid crust.
- Make the cream cheese layer by beating softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth, then folding in half of the whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the crust.
- Prepare the pudding layer by whisking chocolate pudding mix with milk until thickened, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Add the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve by cutting into squares and enjoying with garnishes like chocolate shavings.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature cream cheese and don’t skip the chilling time.
