Description
A festive, no-bake Christmas dessert made with layers of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, creamy pudding, fluffy whipped topping, and holiday sprinkles perfect for parties and celebrations!
Ingredients
5 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (vanilla or chocolate)
1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip), plus more for layering
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Red and green sprinkles for garnish
Crushed candy canes or white chocolate curls (optional)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened; let sit for 5 minutes.
2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Fold pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in 1 cup whipped topping until creamy.
4. Cut Christmas Tree Cakes into slices or cubes.
5. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half the cake pieces, half the pudding mixture, and a layer of whipped topping.
6. Repeat layers until the dish is full, ending with whipped topping.
7. Decorate the top with sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or extra cake slices.
8. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
You can make this a day ahead — it tastes even better after chilling overnight.
