Ingredients

2 lbs collard greens

1 lb smoked turkey wings or drumsticks

1 onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp red pepper flakes

4 cups chicken broth

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Wash and chop collard greens.

2. Heat oil in pot, sauté onion and garlic.

3. Add smoked turkey and broth, simmer 45 minutes.

4. Add collard greens gradually, stir.

5. Simmer another 45 minutes until tender.

6. Season with vinegar, salt, and pepper.

7. Serve hot.

Notes

Soak turkey if too salty.

Adjust spice with cayenne or chili flakes.
