  • Author: Michael
  • Total Time: 10 mins + chilling
  • Yield: 46 servings 1x

Description

This Cottage Cheese Banana Pudding is a creamy, protein-packed dessert that blends ripe bananas and cottage cheese for a naturally sweet, silky base. Layered with vanilla wafers and banana slices, it’s a wholesome and easy no-bake treat perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a light snack.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Pudding Base:

1 ½ cups cottage cheese (small curd or whipped)

2 ripe bananas

3 tbsp honey or maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

For Layering:

1 ½ cups vanilla wafers or graham crackers, crushed or whole

2 bananas, sliced

Optional: ½ cup light whipped topping or Greek yogurt, for a creamy layer

For Garnish:

Extra banana slices

Crushed wafers or toasted coconut

Drizzle of honey or caramel sauce

Instructions

1. In a blender or food processor, combine cottage cheese, ripe bananas, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Blend until completely smooth and creamy (about 1 minute).

2. In serving cups or a large dish, layer crushed wafers, banana slices, and the blended pudding mixture.

3. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with pudding on top.

4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to allow the flavors to blend and the texture to firm slightly.

5. Top with whipped topping (if using), fresh banana slices, and a sprinkle of crushed wafers or cinnamon.

Notes

Use ripe bananas with brown spots for a naturally sweet flavor.

You can replace wafers with crushed graham crackers or granola.

For a dairy-free option, substitute plant-based cottage cheese and coconut yogurt.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
