Description
Tender, juicy steak bites tossed in a zesty cowboy butter sauce bursting with garlic, herbs, lemon, and spice for the perfect quick dinner or appetizer!
Ingredients
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp chopped thyme
1 tsp chopped chives
Instructions
1. Season steak bites with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
5. Add garlic, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and herbs.
6. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant, then return steak bites to the pan.
7. Toss to coat evenly in the cowboy butter sauce.
8. Serve warm, garnished with extra herbs and lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
Perfect with roasted potatoes or rice.
For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Use chicken or shrimp instead of steak for a fun variation.
