- 1 large baguette or crusty loaf
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 150 g cooked shrimp, chopped
- 150 g lump crab meat
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Slice the baguette into thick cubes, ensuring it stays intact.
- Mix melted butter with garlic and parsley to create garlic butter.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture between the bread cuts.
- In a bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in mozzarella cheese into the seafood mixture.
- Stuff the seafood mixture into the pockets of the bread.
- Wrap the loaf loosely in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp and crab meat for better flavor. Customize the garlic butter with herbs for added flavor.
