Ingredients
1 wheel (8 oz) Brie cheese
1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
1 sheet puff pastry (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash if using puff pastry)
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for simple baked Brie.
2. Place Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top with cranberry sauce and nuts if using.
3. Bake 15–20 minutes, until Brie is soft and gooey.
4. Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.
5. For the puff pastry version: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
6. Roll out puff pastry and place Brie in the center. Top with cranberry sauce and nuts.
7. Fold pastry over the Brie, sealing edges, and brush with egg wash.
8. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
