Description
A light and fluffy French-inspired Cream Puff Cake with silky cream filling and chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients
1 cup water
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 large eggs
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
1 1/2 cups whipped cream
Chocolate syrup for topping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Boil water and butter, then stir in flour until smooth.
3. Add eggs one at a time, beating until glossy.
4. Spread dough in the dish and bake 25–30 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
5. Whisk pudding with milk until thick. Fold in whipped cream.
6. Spread filling over cooled pastry and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
7. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Best served chilled.
Do not freeze.
