- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of cream or milk
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant and the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Season the boneless chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
- Add the rice to the same skillet and toast for about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and cream (or milk) and stir to coat the rice.
- Place the chicken back into the skillet, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust creaminess by substituting half of the cream with chicken broth. You can also add frozen vegetables for added nutrition.
