Ingredients
2 balls burrata cheese
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Marinara sauce for serving
Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
1. Pat burrata balls dry and place in the freezer for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
2. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
3. Carefully dredge each burrata ball in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat.
4. Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for extra crispiness.
5. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry burrata balls carefully for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
8. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil.
