Description
Mini sandwiches packed with crispy chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, shredded lettuce, and Parmesan cheese a fun, flavorful twist on the classic Caesar salad in slider form.
Ingredients
12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or dinner rolls)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 12 small pieces
1 cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Caesar dressing
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Coat chicken pieces in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken pieces until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
5. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottoms in a baking dish.
6. In a bowl, toss lettuce with Caesar dressing.
7. Layer crispy chicken on the bun bottoms, then top with dressed lettuce and Parmesan cheese.
8. Place the top buns on and brush them with melted butter mixed with Italian seasoning.
9. Bake for 5–7 minutes, until warmed through and the tops are lightly toasted.
10. Serve immediately, warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Use store-bought chicken tenders for a quicker version.
Add a slice of mozzarella or provolone for a cheesy upgrade.
Serve with extra Caesar dressing on the side for dipping.
