Description
Crunchy, flavorful roasted chickpeas a high-protein, fiber-rich snack that’s perfectly seasoned and irresistibly crispy, great for munching anytime.
Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
Optional: pinch of cayenne for heat
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat very dry with paper towels.
3. Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes to dry them out.
4. Remove from oven, drizzle with olive oil, and toss with seasonings.
5. Return to oven and roast for 20–25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until golden and crispy.
6. Let cool completely before storing to maintain crispiness.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Experiment with flavors — try curry powder, chili lime, or everything bagel seasoning.
For extra crunch, roast a few minutes longer but watch closely to avoid burning.
