Description

  • 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Infuse the milk with Earl Grey tea leaves, heat until boiling, steep for 10 minutes, then strain.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture alternately with the infused milk, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the blackberries gently.
  8. Fill the cupcake liners two-thirds full with the batter.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  10. Cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
