Description
Tender, flaky salmon fillets glazed with a spicy-sweet gochujang sauce — a quick and flavorful dish with Korean-inspired flair.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the glaze.
4. Place salmon fillets on the prepared sheet and brush generously with the glaze.
5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
6. For extra caramelization, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.
7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
Serve with steamed rice and roasted vegetables or a cucumber salad.
Adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
Leftovers are great flaked over rice bowls or salads.
