Juicy Greek-inspired chicken burgers packed with feta cheese, herbs, and Mediterranean flavor perfect for a healthy and delicious twist on classic burgers.
Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
4 burger buns
Toppings: sliced tomato, cucumber, lettuce, tzatziki sauce
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta, red onion, garlic, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper.
2. Mix until just combined — avoid overmixing.
3. Form mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
4. Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
5. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
6. Toast burger buns if desired.
7. Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, cucumber slices, and a dollop of tzatziki sauce.
8. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, mix a spoonful of tzatziki into the burger mixture before cooking.
These burgers can be grilled outdoors or cooked in the oven.
Serve with a side of Greek salad or roasted potatoes for a complete meal.
