Description
These Ham and Cheese Sliders are a guaranteed hit! Layers of savory ham and melty Swiss cheese tucked inside buttery Hawaiian rolls, brushed with a tangy Dijon poppy seed glaze perfect for parties, potlucks, or game day!
Ingredients
1 (12-count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
3/4 lb sliced deli ham
8 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Optional: honey or brown sugar for a touch of sweetness
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Without separating, slice rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the dish.
3. Layer ham evenly over the rolls, then top with Swiss cheese. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and onion powder.
5. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls, making sure to coat evenly.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
7. Let rest a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders. Serve warm.
Notes
Use any cheese you love — provolone, cheddar, or Gruyère all work great.
Add a few thin pickle slices or a drizzle of honey mustard for extra flavor.
