Description
Heart-shaped chocolate Rice Krispie treats made with gooey marshmallows and rich cocoa an easy no-bake dessert perfect for Valentine’s Day or sweet celebrations.
Ingredients
3 tbsp unsalted butter
10 oz mini marshmallows
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
1. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
3. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
4. Stir in cocoa powder and vanilla until smooth.
5. Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies cereal.
6. Mix in chocolate chips gently.
7. Press mixture into prepared dish evenly.
8. Cool slightly, then cut heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
9. Decorate with sprinkles if desired and let set.
Notes
Grease the cookie cutter to prevent sticking.
Use silicone heart molds for clean shapes.
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
