- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Combine the cooked beef and onion with sliced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Season with salt and pepper, then stir well.
- Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by lightly greasing it.
- Spoon the beef and potato mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
