Description

A smooth and refreshing iced matcha latte made with premium matcha green tea, creamy milk, and a touch of sweetness  a perfect pick-me-up for warm days or an energizing morning treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 tsp matcha powder

2 tbsp hot water (not boiling)

12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.

2. Add honey or maple syrup if desired, whisking to dissolve.

3. Fill a glass with ice cubes.

4. Pour milk over the ice.

5. Slowly pour the matcha mixture on top to create a layered effect.

6. Stir before drinking, and enjoy!

Notes

Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) for the smoothest texture.

Oat milk and almond milk pair beautifully with matcha.

For extra creaminess, blend the matcha and milk together before pouring over ice.
