Description

A fun and flavorful appetizer that combines the creamy, cheesy goodness of jalapeño poppers with the convenience of bite-sized pinwheels. Perfect for game day, parties, or casual gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale

2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

34 jalapeños, seeded and finely diced

4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, diced jalapeños, bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Unfold one sheet of puff pastry and spread half of the mixture evenly over the surface.

4. Roll it tightly into a log and slice into 1/2-inch rounds.

5. Place pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet and brush tops with egg wash.

6. Repeat with the second puff pastry sheet.

7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and puffed.

8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Adjust jalapeño quantity based on your spice preference.

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top before baking.

Can be made ahead and frozen — just bake straight from frozen, adding 3–4 minutes to baking time.
