Description
Crispy, golden, and keto-friendly, these Cauliflower Hash Browns are a low-carb twist on the breakfast classic. Made with cauliflower, cheese, and almond flour, they’re perfect for breakfast, meal prep, or a savory snack.
Ingredients
3 cups grated cauliflower (fresh or thawed frozen)
1 large egg
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
2 tbsp almond flour (or coconut flour)
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for frying)
Instructions
1. If using fresh cauliflower, grate it using a box grater or food processor. Squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth.
2. In a bowl, combine cauliflower, egg, cheese, almond flour, and seasonings. Mix until well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into small patties (about 3 inches wide).
4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry each patty for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot — perfect with sour cream, avocado, or eggs!
Notes
Add chopped green onions or bacon bits for extra flavor.
For an air fryer version, cook at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
