Description
Succulent lobster tails brushed with rich garlic herb butter, broiled to perfection for a luxurious seafood dinner that’s simple yet elegant.
Ingredients
4 lobster tails (about 5–6 oz each)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven’s broiler to high and position the rack about 6 inches from the heat.
2. Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of each lobster shell lengthwise to the tail; gently pull the meat upward, resting it on top of the shell.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. Brush half of the garlic herb butter over the lobster meat.
5. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8–10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly golden on top.
6. Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining garlic herb butter.
7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra parsley for garnish.
Notes
For a smoky flavor, grill the lobster tails instead of broiling.
Use clarified butter for a richer, restaurant-style finish.
Pair with garlic mashed potatoes or steamed asparagus for a complete meal.
