Description

A delicious blend of Parmesan and mozzarella cheese with tender chicken, making it perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a comforting meal at home.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Set out three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish and mix remaining mozzarella with leftover Parmesan and garlic, spreading it over the chicken.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F/74°C).
  7. Allow to cool slightly and serve hot with sides.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and ensure not to overcrowd the skillet while cooking.
