Description
Crispy mini apple fritters coated in cinnamon sugar – the perfect fall treat.
Ingredients
2 medium apples, peeled and diced
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
Vegetable oil, for frying
1/4 cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)
Instructions
1. Peel, core, and dice apples into small cubes.
2. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
3. Whisk eggs and milk together, then fold into dry mixture.
4. Stir in diced apples until combined.
5. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
6. Drop spoonfuls of batter into oil; fry until golden brown, 2–3 minutes per side.
7. Drain fritters on paper towels.
8. Roll warm fritters in cinnamon sugar and serve.
Notes
Best served warm.
For baking option: bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes.
Experiment with variations like caramel drizzle or spiced chai.
