Description
A quick and flavorful one-pan meal featuring crispy gnocchi, savory sausage, and caramelized Brussels sprouts.
Ingredients
1 lb gnocchi (shelf-stable or refrigerated)
2 tbsp olive oil
12 oz chicken or turkey sausage
2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small shallot, sliced
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 lemon (zest + juice)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat oil in skillet, add gnocchi, and crisp for 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
2. Cook sausage slices until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3. Add Brussels sprouts cut-side down, cook until caramelized.
4. Add garlic, shallot, and chili flakes, sauté briefly.
5. Return gnocchi and sausage to the pan, toss with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Notes
Best served immediately for maximum crispiness.
Reheat leftovers in a skillet, not microwave, to restore texture.
