Description
This Oreo Dirt Cake is a nostalgic, no-bake dessert layered with creamy pudding, fluffy whipped topping, and crushed Oreos. Fun, delicious, and perfect for parties especially with gummy worms for that classic dirt cake effect!
Ingredients
1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
½ cup butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 ½ cups cold milk
1 container (12 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
Optional: gummy worms for decoration
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until creamy.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until thickened.
3. Fold whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
4. Gently fold in the cream cheese mixture.
5. In a large trifle dish or 9×13 pan, layer crushed Oreos, pudding mixture, and repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of Oreos on top.
6. Decorate with gummy worms if desired.
7. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving for best results.
Notes
For a fun twist, serve in individual clear cups with gummy worms for kid-friendly portions.
You can swap vanilla pudding with chocolate pudding for an even richer flavor.
