A delightful dish that combines the savory flavors of Parmesan cheese with bright, zesty lemon, perfect for weeknight dinners and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast with the cheese mixture.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  5. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Let rest for a few minutes and serve garnished with lemon slices.

Notes

Use fresh Parmesan cheese for better flavor. You can also substitute with panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
