- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken breast with the cheese mixture.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Add the coated chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for a few minutes and serve garnished with lemon slices.
Notes
Use fresh Parmesan cheese for better flavor. You can also substitute with panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
