Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9-inch round cake pan by adding unsalted butter and melting it in the oven.
- Make the caramel mixture by stirring in brown sugar and ground cinnamon to the melted butter.
- Arrange the sliced peaches over the caramel mixture in the pan.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix wet ingredients in another bowl: milk, eggs, vegetable oil, bourbon, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently.
- Pour the cake batter over the arranged peaches.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
