Description
Classic pecan pie with a golden crust and rich nutty filling.
Ingredients
1 pie crust (9-inch)
1 ½ cups pecan halves
1 cup chopped pecans
3 large eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup maple syrup
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Blind-bake crust for 10 minutes.
3. Toast pecans lightly.
4. Whisk eggs, sugar, syrup, butter, vanilla, salt, and flour.
5. Stir in chopped pecans.
6. Pour filling into crust, top with pecan halves.
7. Bake 45–50 minutes until center is set.
8. Cool 2 hours before slicing.
Notes
Best served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Store leftovers covered for up to 5 days.
