Description
This Chicken with Grapes and Figs is a flavorful, naturally sweet dish that combines tender chicken with juicy grapes and figs for a comforting dinner.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
6 fresh figs, quartered
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken until golden, about 5 minutes per side.
3. Remove chicken and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
5. Add grapes, figs, chicken broth, balsamic vinegar, and thyme.
6. Return chicken to skillet, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes until cooked through.
7. Serve warm with pan sauce spooned over chicken.
