Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tbsp balsamic glaze or honey (optional, for serving)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
3. Place them in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
4. Spread the sprouts cut-side down in a single layer on the baking sheet.
5. Roast for 20–25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until crispy and deeply golden.
6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze or honey before serving, if desired.

For extra crispiness, make sure the Brussels sprouts are dry before roasting.
