Description
Sweet, caramelized dates stuffed with rich fillings and roasted to perfection.
Ingredients
12 Medjool dates, pitted
1/4 cup almond butter or cashew cream
2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans
1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Slice dates lengthwise and remove pits.
3. Fill each date with almond butter and nuts.
4. Arrange on a parchment-lined tray.
5. Brush lightly with oil.
6. Roast for 10–12 minutes until caramelized.
7. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Best served warm.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat in oven before serving for best results.
