Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
8 small corn or flour tortillas
For the Slaw:
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tsp honey
Salt to taste
For the Sauce:
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 tsp chopped cilantro
Instructions
1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, and salt, then toss with cabbage to make the slaw.
4. Whisk together sour cream, lime juice, hot sauce, and cilantro to make the taco sauce.
5. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
6. Assemble tacos: layer slaw, shrimp, and drizzle with the sauce.
7. Serve immediately with lime wedges and extra cilantro if desired.
Notes
Add avocado slices or pickled onions for extra flavor.
Use lettuce wraps instead of tortillas for a low-carb version.
