Description
A quick and irresistible dessert made with crispy tortillas filled with creamy cheesecake filling and fresh strawberries golden on the outside, warm and gooey inside, perfect for a sweet snack or brunch treat.
Ingredients
4 flour tortillas (8-inch)
6 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp butter, for frying
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Optional Toppings:
Whipped cream
Chocolate drizzle
Extra sliced strawberries
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
2. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over half of each tortilla.
3. Top with sliced strawberries and fold the tortillas in half to enclose the filling.
4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
5. Place quesadillas in the skillet and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.
6. Mix sugar and cinnamon together; sprinkle over the warm quesadillas.
7. Slice into wedges and serve immediately with whipped cream or chocolate drizzle if desired.
Notes
You can substitute strawberries with raspberries, blueberries, or sliced bananas.
Add a drizzle of caramel or Nutella for an indulgent twist.
Best served warm, but leftovers can be reheated in a toaster or skillet.
